Signal Hill Romantic Sunset Tour in Cape Town

What an awesome experience! Loved the whole experience together with lovely snacks and a cold bottle of bubbly! Willem, our guide, was exceptional! He made sure our 2 hours together was spent to the max!

As it was my husband's birthday, I wanted to do something 'different' and give him an experience that he would always remember. Even though we live in Cape Town - I thought that using Willem Mulder and his Trike to take us on a tour - where we would be chauffeured around and could thus relax and enjoy ourselves, would be an ideal experience. While I had booked the sunset tour, Willem was flexible and accommodating in that I preferred being collected from my home in the morning - to rather enjoy a breakfast ride. We were safely clipped into our seats and Willem drove us along a picturesque route that took us through central Cape Town, along the seaboard via Greenpoint, Seapoint and Camps Bay - where we stopped to stretch out legs and admire the beautiful view across the aqua blue ocean and towards the 12 Apostles behind Table Mountain. We then made our way up to Signal Hill where we enjoyed magnificent views over Cape Town and the Atlantic seaboard. It was a beautiful clear, hot and wind free day that allowed us views that stretched on for miles and miles. We were blessed and privileged to be spoilt in this way. At this point, Willem set out tasty finger snacks (prepared by his wife, Amanda) and Champagne for us to enjoy. These were most welcome and thoroughly enjoyed. Willem kept us entertained with interesting information and amusing anecdotes that kept us laughing. We were then dropped off safely at home some +- 4 hours later. I would highly recommend Willem to any tourists' visiting Cape Town who are looking to sight see - but with a memorable difference. For locals living in Cape Town or elsewhere in South Africa - treat yourself and your other half to a new experience.
